We opened Kokoro in 1986 and worked at that location on Colorado Blvd. every single day.  We believe in cooking and serving our food from the heart.  Our focus is serving the best quality food in an efficient and inexpensive way. Since our opening, we've established two more locations where we continue to serve the same great food you love everyday.     

We value our customers like they were family. Whether it’s your first time at Kokoro, or if you have been coming in once a week for the past two decades.  We want every single Kokoro experience to be better than the last.

We start with only premium ingredients that arrive to us fresh and never processed. We use Colorado based company RED BIRD FARMS never frozen chicken, and for our famous beef bowl we only use U.S. Choice Beef. Whenever possible we buy Colorado grown, co-op vegetables. We never buy processed vegetables; we cut them daily by hand to make sure that they come to your table fresh, and crunchy. Everything is treated with care and thought; from how we steam vegetables or how we can improve on our famous and still secret, teriyaki sauce recipe to new menu items such our new ramen feature.
